Sweet Fennel Tartlets

Fennel seeds are used both in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines. This is a typical recipe adapted from some biscuits brought back from Italy as a present by my wife Priscilla. It is fascinating to develop a brand-new and valuable recipe out of just a few humble ingredients. The tartlets are wonderful with coffee or tea.
