This is hardly a recipe, more an idea of a way to use one of the most pungent and sharp flavourings. I love horseradish freshly grated, it doesn’t really need to be made into a sauce. This is very simple, but highly effective.
Brush the steaks with the olive oil and salt them on both sides. Place them under a very hot grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side. Transfer to a hot plate and grate the fresh horseradish on top. Eat with a green salad and fried potatoes.
