This sauce is traditionally eaten with very thinly sliced cooked veal. Its vital ingredient is capers, which are combined with cornichons (tiny gherkins), tuna and mayonnaise. The sauce is also very tasty spread on crostini.

Method

Put the capers and gherkins into a blender and then blend to a pulp. Add the tuna and blend again. Next mix in the mayonnaise, and season to taste. The sauce is ready!
