This is just fruit served in a bath of syrup. Use any fruit you like but I feel colour is important here, so a couple of berries or cherries can be splashed in at the last moment if you don’t have very red plums. Choose fruit with a beautiful shape. I love serving something like this with a scoop of snow-white yoghurt or buttermilk ice cream.
