Sunday brunches and picnics are the happy memories associated with eating Akuri. Traditionally eaten for leisurely Sunday morning breakfast, it remains a favourite way of devouring eggs for most Parsis. Serve it with fresh crisp bread or toast, butter, jam and a pot of freshly brewed Parsi Choi (tea made with mint and fresh lemon grass blades).
Every family seems to have their own version of it. I personally prefer my family recipe, less ingredients with a great taste.
