Pronounced as Cha- putt, simply meaning ‘flat’, these pancakes are an easy and quick teatime treat. They are an old favourite from the yesteryears, made from a mixture of coconut milk, nuts and a little sugar to enjoy with a cup of tea.

As in most traditional foods, each family has their secret recipe. This one is shared from my mother-in-law’s family, which had a reputation for being great cooks in the Parsi community!
