  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 orange
  • 3 cloves


  1. Heat the sugar in a saucepan over low heat, then squeeze the juice of the orange over it and continue to heat until caramelized, about 5 minutes. Add the cloves, cinnamon and cardamoms and mix well, then add the rum and flambé the mixture. Pour in the coffee and simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes until the caramel is completely blended with the coffee.
