Country shows run deep in Lexie Young’s blood. Her great-grandfather, John R. Scott, won prizes in 1864 at the first exhibition organised by the Western Agricultural Society at Westbury in northern Tasmania. He took home two sovereigns for the best iron plough and scarifier, which he made himself.
