Peanut Butter Swirl Slice

It’s fair to say that Bettina Kent and her six daughters have a bit of a sweet tooth. Almost every week since the eldest girls started school, Bettina has made hedgehog for their lunchboxes, or another slice or cake to top up household supplies. ‘When I was a child, we would get home from school and Mum would have biscuits and slices made every day. There was always something home cooked, and usually I do the same,’ she says.

Bettina lives in the small rural town of Casterton, in th
