  • 1 jar (32 oz/907 g) of pickled herring

  1. Chop the herring slices into smaller pieces. Dice the apples, mince the onion.
  2. Mix the sour cream with the apples, onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix the cream with the herrings and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Leave in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to chill.

You can substitute the apples with pickles, or add some sugar for a sweeter tas
