Walnut Layer

  • 5 eggs (whites and yolks separated)
  • cup (150 g) sugar

Method

  1. Prepare the first walnut layer: Beat the 5 egg whites, gradually adding in sugar, until white and fluffy. Then, beat in 1 egg yolk at a time. Mix in the ground walnuts, baking powder, and bake in a greased cake pan at 350°F (180°C) for about 25 minutes.
  2. Prepare the second almond layer: Follow the same directions as for the first layer, but substitute the walnuts w
