Brazilian comfort food at its best, peixe à delícia is a traditional dish from Ceará, a state located in the northeastern part of the country. It is essentially a gratin consisting of layers of béchamel sauce, fish (usually freshwater fish), plantains and cheese. The combo of fish with plantains might be unexpected, but I have a feeling you’ll fall in love with it, especially when presented in such an indulgent dish!
