Bean and Pasta Soup

Cold weather calls for a soul-warming soup! This is the Brazilian version of the Italian pasta e fagioli, with the main difference being the fact that we blend the beans down to a creamy broth.

The pasta is cooked right in the soup, releasing its starch and making the soup even creamier. That being said, this soup isn’t supposed to be thick, more brothy instead, so make sure to adjust the amount of water once the pasta is done cooking. You will also need to add water if the soup coo
