This is one of those recipes in which working without gluten actually proves advantageous. The texture of these brownies is dense and chewy, and they have a nice, shiny top to them.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch (20 cm) square pan with parchment so that the paper comes up the sides of the pan.
  2. Stir the sugar, cocoa, and oil together until moistened.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, and whisk to bl
