I know, I know. This is probably not “good for you, ” but it sure is delicious. Pâté is a retrograde food that some of us are loathe to give up entirely, even in our modern quest for healthful dining. Generations of French have survived cheerfully and with great longevity, on a pâté laden diet. Recent medical studies show that fat may be counteracted by the traditional glass of red wine.
