Ingredients: 150 g milk chocolate chips or chunks; 75 g cornflour; 150 g white chocolate chips or chunks; 220 g soft light brown sugar; 5 medium egg yolks; 1 tsp salt; 175 g plain flour; 2 baking sheets, lined; 150 g unsalted butter, softened; 175 g strong white bread flour; ½ tsp baking powder; 1-2 tbsp milk (optional); 1 tsp vanilla extract

This recipe is all thanks to our Head Baker, Toni. These cookies are her babies and she makes them most mornings — we put them out on the counter still warm and the smell in the café is amazing. Hard to describe, they have a bit of a crust on the outside but the insides are soft and cakey and packed full of chocolate.
