We use this all the time! It takes no time at all and has so many uses: we use it to fill layer cakes and cupcakes, and alongside French toast or toasted banana bread. It’s delicious with yoghurt, ice cream and over porridge. It’s a great way to use up leftover berries, but it’s worth knowing that frozen berries make great compote, and there’s no need to defrost them first.
