  • About

This is tangy and sweet and has a bit of a kick. We use it in our Pulled Pork, in the Filled Savoury Scones and in our Sunday Breakfast Bakes. It’s also great in toasties and on burgers too.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves, crushed

Method

Get the oven on at 200°C (180°C fan). Heat a tablespoon of oil in your saucepan over a low heat and fry the onion and garlic gently until the onion is soft. Add the tomato purée and cook for another five minutes. Stir in the sugar and cook
