Cosmic Cakes are our version of whoopie pies, a classic from the great state of Maine. We start with two thin layers of a soft chocolate cake, sandwiched around a filling of vanilla Swiss buttercream, which we then coat with rich, dark chocolate. It’s fun to experiment with other flavors though more options. We’re especially partial to the chocolate mint, peanut butter, and banana variations with these.

Making Cosmic Cakes is definitely a project.
