Ingredients: Semisweet chocolate chunks, chopped; Chocolate-covered raisins; Mini marshmallows; 5 Tbsp [70 g] unsalted butter; One 16 oz [455 g] bag large marshmallows; ½ tsp vanilla extract; Candy cane pieces (maybe leftover from Christmas); Chocolate-covered nuts; Sprinkles; 6 cups [200 g] crispy rice cereal; ½ cup [100 g] finely chopped semisweet chocolate

There’s nothing like hot cocoa on a snow day, and these crispy rice treats conjure up that exact flavor! They’re delicious as is, but because sometimes more is more—especially with kids—we’ve also included optional mix-ins, just like you might use to top your mug of hot chocolate. Choose one or a multitude of mix-ins! Truth be told, we don’t actually make these at the bakery but we have been known to indulge. Nothing like crispy rice treats to bring back the joy of childhood.
