Though these are similar to Classic Southern Biscuits, I like to make them with slightly different proportions. You may also use the food processor to prepare this dough.

Ingredients

  • cups unbleached all-purpose flour

  1. Set a rack at the middle level of the oven and preheat to 450 degrees.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl or bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Stir or pulse several times to mix.
