In this tart, the chocolate pastry and pastry cream give an added flavor dimension to the usual combination of custard and bananas.

  1. Prepare and chill the dough.
  2. Roll the dough out and line the pan.
  3. To make the chocolate filling, combine the milk and 2 tablespoons of the sugar in a saucepan over low heat and bring to a boil.
  4. Whisk the yolks with the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar, sift the flour over it, and whisk together.</
