Although it is a little extra work to prepare these individual tarts for a holiday meal, it makes the serving easier at dessert time. If you wish, you can substitute a low-fat cheese for the cream cheese to make a less rich filling.

  1. Prepare and chill the dough.
  2. To make the filling, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Beat in the sugar, then the rest of the ingredients, one at a time, in the order given. Stop the mixer and scrape the bowl and beaters several times as you are beating. Set the filling aside while you roll out the crusts.
  3. Set a rac
