Dad made huge vats of chocolate-coated cornflake cakes. He always used Kellogg’s Cornflakes and dark Belgian Callebaut chocolate. One of my favourite jobs was mixing the chocolate and flakes then spooning into the paper cake holders. Most people have memories of making these crispy cakes at home with their mum. I made them with Dad using three pints of molten chocolate and three packets of cornflakes.
