Using the biscuit dough recipe, cut the dough using a biscuit cutter in the shape of a Christmas tree, then bake the dough. Follow the instructions below to decorate the tree-shaped biscuits.

  • 150 g green fondant icing
  • 3 tablespoons apricot jam

Method

Use dark green soft, ready-to-roll fondant icing. Roll out the icing, then use a textured rolling pin to create indentations in vertical stripes that resemble the look of corduroy. Alternatively, simply leave the icing untextured. Use the Christmas tree-shaped biscuit cutter to cut the icing in the shape of the Christmas tree.
