Miniature Cheese Danish Twirls

You can make these any size you like. These miniature ones are perfect in a breakfast basket, but you can also make large ones, like those sold in American bakeries and cafes. These versatile Danish pastries have a hollow spot in the middle into which you can put just about anything from the cream cheese, preserves, and walnuts used here, to various cooked fruits, almond cream, or Nutella.
