I am a lover of all things salmon. Smoked, tartar, carpaccio, skewers, raw, cooked, and cured. It is a fish that could help save your life. In the wild form, from Alaska, the omega-3 fats in the fish are a great deterrent to heart disease. In fact, many folks prescribe salmon as an essential part of the diet to recover from heart procedures. I am also a fan of salmon skin. Especially when it is grilled or broiled.
