A crostata is a sweet tart in the Italian baking canon. At Barbuto we like the presentation to be more rustic than that of a formal fruit tart. Crostatas are probably the most important pastry that we serve. We might sell more budino and tiramisus, but crostatas are the mainstay. We follow the seasons.
