  • About

Budino is the most popular of Barbuto’s dessert offerings. It is the perfect ending to a Barbuto meal: rich and delicate at the same time. Budino is simply “pudding” in Italian. The puddings of my youth came from a box, but I loved them just the same. This decadent big brother has all the fixings: rich chocolate, sugar, cream, and butter—a far more advanced version of the boxed one my mom served in the mid-1950s.
