White Soy Dressing


  • 50 ml ( fl oz) white soy sauce
  • 30 ml (1 fl oz) rice wine vinegar
  • 30 ml (1 fl oz) mirin
  • 2 drops sesame oil
  • 60 g ( oz/¼ cup) sour cream
  • 0.5 g xanthan gum


Mix the soy sauce, vinegar, mirin and sesame oil together in a stainless steel bowl. Add the sour cream and xanthan gum and stir until combined.

This can be made 1 day in advance and stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
