  • 4 kaffir lime leaves, plus 1 extra for garnish
  • ¼ Lebanese (short) cucmber, plus batons for garnish
  • 40 ml (1¼ fl oz) gin
  • 1 teaspoon fiano vermouth (see Note)
  • juice of ½ lime
  • 2 teaspoons soda water


Place the lime leaves and cucumber in a boston glass and muddle. Add the gin, vermouth and lime juice. Add 1 cup of ice cubes and shake for 10 seconds. Pour into a tall glass filled with crushed ice and top with soda water. Garnish with the lime leaf and cucumber batons.
