Ingredients: ¾ teaspoon baking soda; 2 eggs; ⅜ teaspoon salt; ½ cup white chocolate chunks; ⅔ cup cocoa (measured, then sifted); 1 tablespoon cream or milk; 1 cup white sugar; 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract; 1-2 cups confectioners’ sugar; 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or coarsely chopped chocolate; 2¼ cups all-purpose flour; ⅔ cup light brown sugar, firmly packed; 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

This decadent chocolate cookie, uplifted with chunks of white chocolate is seduction at first sight. A great gift cookie or the one to serve with expresso. I recommend Callebaut pure white chocolate wafers, coarsely chopped in large hunks. For an extra glamourous look, you can roll this in confectioners’ sugar before baking.

Method

In a mixer bowl, blend butter with white sugar and brown sugar. Blend in the eggs and vanilla extract. If mixture seems curdled, stir in ¼ cup of the flour to bind it, mixing on slow speed 2-3 minutes.

In another bowl, stir together the flour (minus the ¼
