- Beef loin steak 500 g (1 lb 1½ oz), finely sliced
- Combine ingredients for marinade in a bowl and stir well. Rub the marinade over the beef and set aside for 3 hours.
- Heat the oil and sauté garlic, ginger and asparagus.
- Stir in the marinated beef and add water. Stir-fry the meat quickly to maintain its tenderness.
- Garnish with chilli and spring onions and serve immediately.
