Blondies are the vanilla counterpart of brownies. Traditionally, they are made with add-ins that keep the “blonde” part of the name true, like white chocolate chips and/or walnuts. However, as with all of the other base recipes in this book, feel free to make them as you like! They are dense and chewy, with slightly crispy edges, and the perfect starting point for a cookie bar.
