  • About

Buns of your own making will actually be a contribution to a picnic or cookout, not just a puffy hassock for a hamburger or a fluffy chaise longue for a frank. These rolls have texture and the good flavor of butter and eggs.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • ¾ stick (6 tablespoons) unsalted butter

Method

  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk, ¾ stick butter, salt, and 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar. Stir over medium heat until the butter melts. Let cool to 110 degrees.
