  • About

Skeptics of savory seed spreads will be converted after just one taste of this umami-rich mixture. Laced with herbs and citrus, it is a great addition to a lunch-box sandwich and makes an elegant dip with crackers and cruditÉs before a company dinner.

Ingredients

  • Raw sunflower seeds, 2 cups (3 oz/90 g), hulled
  • Fresh lemon juice

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Spread the seeds on a rimmed baking sheet and bake until lightly toasted, 8–10 minutes.
