  • About

Most neon yellow margarita mixes are made with high-fructose corn syrup and a litany of chemicals and artificial flavors. Perhaps that’s why they taste a bit like cleaning fluid. This recipe contains nothing but fresh citrus juices and agave syrup.

Ingredients

  • Agave syrup, 1 cup (8 fl oz/250 ml)
  • Filtered water,

Method

In a large nonreactive bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until blended. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, then pour into a bottle, cap tightly, and refrigerate until ready to serve. The mixer keeps for 2 weeks stored in the refrigerator.
