Tostadas

Tostadas taught me what texture could add to a dish. I will never forget eating tostadas at a food stand on the side of the road that my dad had taken me to. My nine-year-old mind was blown at how much there was going on. There was warm shredded chicken topped with cool crema, wet lettuce, and tomatoes all atop the crunchiest tostada.
