Ingredients: 240 g unsalted butter, softened; 60 g light muscovado sugar; 2 tbsp golden syrup; 3 extremely ripe, large bananas (or 4 small); they should be brown, not yellow; ¼ tsp ground nutmeg; 120 g unsalted butter, softened, plus more for the tins; 250 g self-raising flour; 1 kg white sugarpaste (or red, for a red die); 2 eggs, lightly beaten; 1 tbsp double cream; edible glue, or 20 g bag white royal icing; 1 tsp ground cinnamon; 200 g icing sugar, sifted; icing sugar, to dust; 100 g black sugarpaste (or white sugarpaste and black food colour paste); 2 tbsp whole milk; 1 tsp baking powder; 160 g light muscovado sugar; pinch of salt; 1 tsp vanilla extract
