Ingredients: 4 tbsp lemon curd, or strawberry or raspberry jam; 1 bag gold chocolate coins (or more, to surround the cake); 5 eggs, lightly beaten; 1½ tsp baking powder; 60 g bag white royal icing, no. 1 nozzle; 280 g golden caster sugar; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 280 g self-raising flour; 1 kg ready-mixed pink sugarpaste; 250 g icing sugar, sifted; 280 g unsalted butter, really soft, diced, plus more for the tin; icing sugar, to dust; 1 packet white chocolate buttons; 250 g unsalted butter, softened

To Bake

Preheat the oven to 180°C/fan 170°C/350°F/gas mark 4.
