When I had my Library Café in Enfield Town Library I used to make this with foamed milk using the steam wand on the coffee machine and it was absolutely wonderful! A lovely, thick creamy texture that lends itself very well to the pure comfort and joy this drink brings. But you don’t need a fancy coffee machine to make this at home, just a good hand whisk and a little elbow grease. It’s a wonderful pick-me-up when it’s freezing cold outside and you have the sniffles.
