Tunworth is the new kid on the block made by Hampshire Cheeses, which was founded in 2004. This soft, white unpasteurised cheese is made from the milk of a traditional Ayrshire herd in a converted cowshed at Hyde Farm, Herriard, winning Supreme Champion 2006 at the British Cheese Awards and a Gold Award at the World Cheese Awards 2007. This cabbagey ‘Camembert’ type cheese is ideal for a bake-in-the-box “vacherin/fondue” style.
