This stickily sweet treacle tart has a gorgeously savoury edge to it with the addition of fragrant anise-flavoured fennel seeds. Ideal for your next dinner party dessert with a pour of rich cream on the side.
Use the pastry sheet to line a shallow 20cm/8in tart tin. Prick the base all over with a fork and chill for 30 minutes.
