Halva and Rose Cookies

Elevate this easy-but-basic cookie recipe with a delicious Middle-Eastern-inspired blend of rose with delicately flavoured sesame halva. You could really use any flavour of halva you like (and replace the rose flavour with another), but I find honey-flavoured halva works beautifully. An elegant accompaniment to a strong coffee or perhaps a mint tea, these pretty little biscuits can be served either slightly warm or cold.
