  • 3 pints cream.
  • 1ΒΌ cups dried brown bread crumbs.
  • β…ž cup sugar.
  • ΒΌ teaspoon salt.


    Soak crumbs in one quart cream, let stand fifteen minutes, rub through sieve, add sugar, salt, and remaining cream; then freeze.
