With any citrus that we can get our hands on, we’ll whip up a batch of homemade soda. The possibilities are endless, and our fifteen citrus trees provide us with plenty of inspiration. Sodas made from the fresh juice and zest of mandarins, oro blancos, grapefruits, Meyer lemons, and oranges keep us hydrated all year long. Mixing citrus flavors together is another fun option for homemade soda, and if you’ve never made soda at home, you must try it once in this lifetime. The combination here of oranges and tangerines is a great way to start your own soda mixology. Best of all, you can control the amount of sugar in your own mix and make your soda less sweet and extra tart if you like. Before you know it, you’ll be making pitchers of it and you’ll say good-bye to the canned stuff. Trust us on this one!
