Create a stunning Tiger Loaf with a crispy crunchy tiger topping. The sesame oil adds a hint of nuttiness but can be substituted for regular vegetable or sunflower oil if you prefer.

Ingredients

Pre-Ferment

  • 250 g (9 oz) strong white bread flour
  • 2 tsp instant dried

Method

  1. Make the pre-ferment and the dough as for the Crusty Cobb recipe.

  2. When it comes to shaping the loaf, instead of working it into a round aim for a longer, slightly tapered loaf shape and set it onto a well greased or lined baking sheet.

  3. Mix together the dry ingredients for the tiger paste and then add in the oil and water. Mix to a fir
