Instead of making sandwiches for a picnic why not try this picnic plait? The fillings are sealed inside so all you have to do is slice and serve – you won’t believe how fast it disappears.

Ingredients

Pre-Ferment

  • 100 g ( oz) strong white bread flour

Method

  1. Make the pre-ferment using the same method as the Danish Apple Plait, but using water instead of apple juice.

  2. When it comes to making the dough follow the Danish Apple Plait method but decrease the sugar to just 1 tsp, increase the salt to 1 tsp and add 1 tsp mustard powder.
