For the dough

1½-pound loaf

  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water (for 14-ounce mix) or 1¼ cups water (for 1-pound mix)
  • 1 tablespoon

Method

  1. Place all the dough ingredients in the pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s instructions. Program for the Dough cycle; press Start.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle it with cornmeal. When the machine beeps at the end of the cycle, turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface. Pat into a 10-by-16-inch rectangle. Spread
