Black & White Mochi Munchkins

At the time of writing this book, I have been in NYC for fourteen years—my longest stretch ever of living in a single city. When I first moved here, I stayed with my friend Stephanie, whose favorite sweet treat was a black and white cookie, one of the Big Apple’s iconic foods.
